The spiritual path in pocket-sized format
The destiny of the individual Soul is to grow, to expand step by step through both life experiences and knowledge.
It must acquire a high and broad vision and also a strong capacity for action, understanding, and transformation of "nature" through knowledge and action. (This should not be confused with power, which is the possibility of action and control by a limited ego.)
Therefore, the seeker, the one who accompanies the Soul on this journey, expands both knowledge and his own potential; through this path, the great tree of the Soul grows, becoming majestic and rich in delicious fruit.
The seeker must therefore fulfill his destiny in two ways: seeking knowledge and perfecting himself through action!
Many are under the illusion, and sell it to others, that a path consisting of the enjoyment of intellectual content and related meditative experiences is sufficient.
This is not the case!
This is a partial path; the tree does not grow majestically but transforms into its allegory!
It is true that for many, the allegory of knowledge and a pocket-sized spiritual path are enough!
Growth requires that extraordinary engine, a factor of maturation through experience, which is material action in physical life.
This is why we incarnate, this is why we have a physical body: the idea requires fruit, being requires becoming, all together is completeness.
Those who are content with the culture of spirituality, with allegory in place of the intensity of life, limit themselves to a theatrical representation of what spiritual life is.
The little being who curls up in the small garden of "I and mine" cannot contain the great tree of knowledge and settles for a bonsai.
To grow, it needs the challenges of life, of altruistic action, of what is difficult and sometimes impossible.
The little self must grow and expand, and with experience it will become mature and complete.
