The new qualities.

The difference between the ordinary personality and the spiritual personality is that the former comes from the past, from what is already structured and sedimented in one's subconscious and memories. Essentially, it is what has been experienced in the present and past lives.

On the other hand, the spiritual personality is a new personality; it is the personality of the future, it is what one must become and comes from the imprint of the Soul.
To build the new personality, the Yogi must develop qualities and aptitudes, acquire new knowledge, and mature in the light of spiritual experiences. It will then be the action or application in life of what one has learned that will bring final completeness.

What we are is more the product of past actions than of thoughts, and what we will be tomorrow will derive from today's actions.
Because thought is subject to forces that, in physical life and even more so in the astral planes, can weaken a person and make them unstable.
While action, as opposed to thought, the way of being and behavior in the difficulties of life, make knowledge stable.

The new personality, made of courage, truth, calm, honesty, detachment, etc., in order to mature and become solid, needs to overcome difficulties and real adversities that test it.
These qualities must transform from latent aptitudes into evident qualities, both in mind and body, and even more, they must become true powers capable of bringing about the transformation of those who come into contact with the Yogi.
