Intuition and reason must fly together
Intuitive knowledge is direct; it is vision, perception.
It can be dazzling when it concerns spiritual planes and transcendent laws.
It has multiple levels of depth and is always a form of identity, as is clearly
described in the states of Samadhi.
True knowledge is living an experience with the totality of being.
Reason and discrimination are what allow us to understand perception, make it
fertile, active, and enable us to grow and transform through perception.
Spiritual intuition is subject to the perception of the heart; reason is a function
of the mind.
Therefore, perception and reason must harmonize and resonate in unison.
Reason expresses itself in a mature mind and is developed through educational work
of the mind, its parts, and the vital system, etc.
Perception is developed in the sadhana of yoga and in the purification of the ego.
Knowledge is a light that has its own strength, an energy, and this transforms the yogi.
When it illuminates, all parts of the being must be ready and mature to
welcome it.
Every limitation and impurity clouds the light and, by removing its original luminosity, transforms it
into something else, just as a dirty glass prevents the room and its
objects from being illuminated.
The yogi's incessant work is to prepare every single, tiny part of the being to
welcome every fragment of the light of knowledge.
