The yogic discipline of Prāṇa that prepares one for inner and transcendent states

Programme of the Day

Morning

Arrival at 9:00 am

Welcome and opening of the seminar.

Preparation for practice and traditional purification techniques:

  • Jala Neti, preliminary preparation and purification;
  • practice of Kriyā and Mudrā of Haṭha Yoga, aimed at preparing the physical and subtle body;
  • introduction to and practice of Ujjāyī Prāṇāyāma, the breath through which to gather and direct Prāṇa, deepening the perception of Consciousness in the physical and subtle worlds;
  • traversing the planes of Consciousness through the Pañcākṣara Mantra.

The practice will be developed as a unified process: from breath to Prāṇa, from outer perception to inner recollection, up to experiencing that movement of withdrawal which, in profoundly different forms, belongs both to the states of yogic ecstasy and to the process of death.

The morning will culminate in the practice of Yajña, the sacred fire rite in its Vedic and Āgamic dimension.

Break

Ayurvedic vegetarian lunch

Time for quiet in the Ashram spaces and in the park.

Afternoon

Study and Exploration:

  • Prāṇa and the five Vāyus: the vital forces that sustain the body and its functions;
  • the withdrawal of Prāṇa and the senses, and the relationship between the physical body, the subtle body, and Consciousness;
  • ecstasy and death: analogies and differences between conscious yogic withdrawal and the gradual abandonment of the body;
  • the teachings of Kailasha Yoga on the process of death and on the states of Consciousness beyond ordinary perception;
  • Karma and Saṃskāra: what remains beyond the dissolution of the physical body;
  • teachings and practices for accompanying death, through presence, recollection, Mantra, and meditation.

Satsaṅga – Dialogue with the Maestro

A sacred moment dedicated to the direct encounter with Maestro Kailasha.

Through dialogue, the teachings received during the day on Prāṇa, ecstasy, and death will be explored in greater depth, bringing them back to the authentic perspective of Yoga and to their relationship with life and spiritual practice.

Closing

The day is expected to conclude at approximately 6:00 pm.
