The Seminar

A full day of practice, study, and direct dialogue, immersed in the quiet atmosphere of the Ashram.

Laya Yoga is the path of the dissolution of the ego and immersion into the knowledge of the Transcendent, through practices and techniques belonging to the Tradition. Personal inner experiences are understood and brought into order through direct dialogue with the Master.

An intimate and essential setting in which to experience authentic transcendence.

Program of the Day

Morning — Arrival at 9:30 AM

    • Welcome and opening of the seminar
    • Preparation for practice, traditional Jala Neti (without lota)
    • Haṭha Yoga practice
    • Prāṇāyāma, foundational and advanced
    • Introduction to Laya Yoga and first stages of guided meditation with Master Kailasha

Break

  • Ayurvedic vegetarian lunch
  • Time for quietness within the Ashram spaces and the park

Afternoon

    • Guided Prāṇāyāma to restore inner order and prepare for the inner work
    • Dhāraṇā, concentration on the cosmic powers which, within the Tradition, are regarded as Divinities
    • Deepening into the process of Laya Yoga and progression within the practices
    • Satsaṅga, dialogue with the Master, a space of direct understanding through inquiry and exchange

Closing

Conclusion of the day at approximately 6:30 PM
